Two issues you may come across, the first is that you can’t see any wii games in USBLoaderGX, this is simple to fix as you just have to click the “Select Loader Mode” button at the top of USBLoaderGX (Next to the “ABC” button). then tick the Wii Games checkbox like so.

The second issue is relating to the people who have purchased the SD card, which is the Wii does not have all the CIOS needed and it causes the games to crash out and not load. This is a common problem because every game uses different cIOS the games and the game disk would normally install the cIOS when you open it.

What is a CIOS?

The cIOS (custom IOS) is a custom piece of software that is used by some applications that work with unofficial content. By installing it, you can for example use Backup Loaders and install unofficial channels to your Wii menu. Every cIOS uses an official IOS by Nintendo as its base.
